While designed and written specifically for people with disabilities, the Mentoring Kit can be useful in any situation, formal or informal, where persons with valuable skills or experience are involved in passing on the benefits of that experience to others. Elements of the kit can also be useful in isolation. For example, the booklet on “Working with Others” contains an excellent blueprint for the successful running of  any organisation; the booklet on “Working with Yourself” contains valuable advice on how to take control of your life and maximise your potential.
